Hey everyone, my DS2 has the cold that DS1 brought home from his first week at preschool last week. I am EBF him so I know that helps, but what are some other things to do for a LO this little? I've got the humidifier w the camphor oil, RNP to keep upright he's in that at the beginning of the night and comes into my bed at first nursing, bulb syringe to suction nose, he's in the MT most of the day. Am I missing anything? Knock on wood, he's not running a fever

helps dry out the nose which helps keep the ears clear to reduce the risk of ear infection.

Breastmilk in his nose. If you can pump some and then take the bulb syringe and spray a little up there after suctioning, it will help fight bacteria. If it is a viral thing, just keep doing what you are doing. You may want to ramp up your Vitamin C intake, as it will pass through to him and help a bunch.
