QOTW: We live in a 4bdrm 1 bath house with a fantastic backyard in a wonderful neighborhood. Not really any renovations but if I had a choice I would be adding a second bathroom. Seems like that's where I spend all my time these days anyways!!!
Updates or vents? Can't really complain, I've wanted this for so long I'm just trying to take it day by day & pray my little bean is a sticky one!
Wishing everyone a H & H pregnancy!

QOTW:What type of home do you live in (House/Condo/Apt/Trailer)?Tell us a bit about it.Are you doing any renovations/home improvements before your little one arrives? We live in a 2-story house. We moved in 11 years ago this Sept. 1. We have retiled the downstairs, painted the greatroom, recarpeted the stairs and upstairs, and we put a pool in the backyard. Not all at once though! We are not doing any renovations for the nursery because his room is already perfect for this. Our end bedroom has a built in toy box/window seat and all our closets came with built in organizers. We just added baby furniture and some wall art.
Updates or vents? I'm so swollen! And every time the baby moves something different hurts. My Dr. said I need to put my feet up everyday after work but that is easier said than done. I get home 12 hours after I wake up and I only have 4 hours before I go to bed. So somewhere in there I need to make dinner, run errands, do laundry, prep for baby, and also put my feet up. I stopped walking (doctors orders) a couple of weeks ago and my dog whined for a couple of weeks and now she's adjusted but I feel SO guilty! My DF walks her a few times during the week but I still feel bad. Soooo I've been trying to come home most days and put my feet up for 1 hour then eat dinner and do an errand or two. 7 days of work until I'm on maternity leave!!! Wahoo!
Updates/Vents: No call last week, so glucose, and presumably iron, levels are good. Which means that some energetic little soul is taking sapping all wakefulness. I have my first "mid-month" appointment this Thursday. I want to ask if they can compare growth between this one and DD, since I feel like I'm as big now as I was at nearly full term with her.
Well, they say no news is good news. I know you were hoping to find a "cause" of the exhaustion...there is one, it's called pregnancy...LOL!. When I was pg with DS, I had energy from week 13 til about week 28 or 30. It's just your body's way of preparing for you for years of sleep deprivation and exhaustion. Rest as much as you can and hopefully you will catch a 2nd wind.
Actually I got a "pleasant" surprise when I saw the doc yesterday. She came in with a sample of iron pills, so yes, low iron. Thankfully not by too much, though. Here's hoping for this to give me the energy to make it though the next month of insanity to the final month of preparations.
