I'm wondering how people would pronounce Kaia.

Also any thoughts on the name are appreciated.

Edit for clarification: Kaia has two pronunciations. I'm just wondering which one is more prevalent.

I really love this name! It was on our long list but we ultimately took it off due to potential pronunciation problems. I would still love to use it, but DH isn't on board.

I like it. The Kaya spelling was one of my favourite names when I was 10-12 years old and I still have a soft spot for it. 

I'd pronounce it KY-ah.

The only Kaia I know is a 30 year old man.  I am assuming you like it for a girl though.  I always thought his name was very feminine though, I prefer it on a girl.

I have only noticed Kaia being listed as feminine. I know that Kai gets listed as m/f.

Yes, I would use it as a girls name.

This is a name we were quite interested in if we were having a girl. I also like the spelling "Kya", which most people on here would dislike because of the y probably. To me, it fixes the problems with pronouncing the name though. I like it both ways.

Ky-a.  I had a kitty with this name, so I certainly think it's pretty.
