I need the good, bad, and ugly about them. Since having DD, tampons are not as comfortable as they used to be. They still work, but are irritating. I am not a huge fan of pads, so I was hoping that this might be another option.

I'm about to begin my third month with the Diva cup and I've loved it. The first month was a but difficult because I didn't have the fold right and it leaked and felt uncomfortable. I guess that's the bad, but by the end of the week and the second month, I had it down and have had no problems. The good is that I can't even feel it and often forget it's there. The first day I need to empty it 34 times and the days after that I only do it in the morning and at night. I guess the ugly would be emptying it, but honestly, it isn't as bad as I was expecting. I don't get anything on my hands usually. I was expecting it to be a huge mess, but it wasn't, aside from one experience that first week.
If you get one, look up the different folds to find what's easiest for you to get it working right and then trim the stem if it's a little uncomfortable.
I highly recommend it and I was pretty sqeamish about it and never thought I'd use one.
I had a Diva cup before pregnancy and bought a Lady Cup after DD was born. It was cheaper and came in different colors, so instead of buying a size 2 Diva I decided to try it.
Both of them have worked great for me. I agree, there is a learning curve. Wear a pad for backup until you get the hang of using it. But it works SO much better than tampons for me. It's a lot easier when you're at work or away from home for a long time, since you can leave it in for 12 hrs at a time.
I had a c-section too, but things are most definitely not the same down there... So embarrassing, but a couple times this week (before I found my lady cup - we moved recently) I actually had a tampon fall out while I was peeing.

Ha, that review is pretty funny. I had a c/s and size 2 is perfect. That's what they recommend for women over 30 or who have had a baby.
I actually would have liked to get the Lunette. I hear it's better for heavier flows, but it's almost twice the price. Since I hadn't tried a cup at all and wasn't sure how I'd like it, I decided to go for the DC since it was cheaper.
I love it! There is a bit of a learning curve with properly inserting it, but once you figure it out, the diva cup is great!
This! Plus, I don't have to worry about having tampons or pads in stock and buying them monthly... Cha-ching, money back in the bank!!! So, my cheap side is happy and then I am not flushing or throwing away additional waste... Crunchy side's happy too! Oh, and I only have to empty mine once a day, even on my heavy days, which is easy and there is no risk of TSS.
