Busy week

So today we got to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time. What an amazing sound. To think that there really is a baby growing in my wife's stomach. Doctor said that every thing looks and sounds good and the wife's happy cause she lost eleven pounds in a month. :). Tomorrow we get to see that baby. We have the NT scan. I can't wait to see my baby again and February can't come fast enough. Let everyone know how tomorrow goes

    It really is awesome, isn't it?  I still have the pic from our fist US on my office desk.  I have three actually.  One from the first, one from the second, and the last one.  So I go from 13 weeks to 28 weeks to 35 weeks.  I smile everytime I look at them.

    Enjoy the second trimester...it is the best one in terms of how your wife will feel.  And remember these little moments because before you know it you will be where we are!!

    Oh believe me i have been cherishing these moments it maybe my 4 but its my wife's 1st and no matter how many you have it is a very special moment!!!!!

    What's even more amazing is your baby has had a heartbeat since 21 days or before! It makes me really sad knowing that my husband's first child was killed after she already had a heartbeat that could have been picked up on a doppler. Now we are expecting our second and at six weeks gestation, I can already feel BoomBoom moving around, especially at night when daddy comes home from work :) Every baby is a blessing, sometimes we just don't realize it until it is too late.

    Well after our loss in October this is even more of a blessing it killed me to see her hurt the way she did and not be able to do anything about it. But now she has that happy glow around her and I just love it cause in away I feel like I got my wife back

    We also heard our first childs heartbeat before he passed on at about 11 weeks.  It was heart-wrenching to say the least.  Especially since the day that my wife miscarried was also during a blizzard, so I was outside digging our house out from 20 inches of snow while my wife was inside dealing with the miscarriage.  It was just a horrible day for us.
