Nighttime screaming at 6 months

My DS use to sttn pretty regularly. However, in the last 10 days, he has been up every night. He use to wake up a bit fussy, but now he wakes up screaming like a banchee. He works himself up so much, that he refuses the bottle for about 10 min until he settles down. Im surprised that it hasn't woken the neighbors yet. The pedi said to wait another few months for cereal. I'm guessing that he is waking up starving. Any advise?? I'm a tired momma these days.

Is he 4 month adjusted? It sounds like the 4 month wakeful. I have yet to go throw it, but I'm sure it's coming soon. I'm sorry I have no advice for you.

Yup, sounds like the 4 mo wakeful period and it was brutal. I wouldn't push for food unless your pedi is recommending it - just a developmental thing you have to get though I'm sorry. There's another one around 8/10 mo.
