So we had our NT scan yesterday. We spent the night before in the ER as I had stabbing, see stars, knock you to the ground pain on my right side. After a call at 2am to my OB's office they told me to go in to the ER immediately. Long story short my right kidney is severely swollen from infection. So now I am on antibiotics and still in pain as tylenol is the best I can take.
The silver lining was I was released at 6am with our NT scan at 10! I was so worried I was not going to get out in time as they wanted me to get so much fluids through IV. My poor SO had to go straight to work once dropping me off at home only to come right back home a couple hours later to take me to our appointment. We came home afterwards and slept!
We met with the geneticist who told us twins panels are a little less accurate as they take an average of the blood work and assign it to each twin. They recommend if anything comes back to do further testing but will leave it totally up to us. The ultrasound took a little over an hour as we had one very uncooperative baby. Baby B was amazing and giving the tech everything she needed while Baby A kept turning on their side and wouldn't cooperate for the measurements. We finally got A's measurements and the MFM said everything looks great!
We discovered both the babies placentas are anterior but both look great. I am now at home resting and growing these two babies trying to kick this infection. It was amazing to see two little human faces and all the wiggles.

Sounds like your infection is under control (or will be) and you have two healthy babies! Yay!
We had our scan yesterday and all looked good, anterior placentas but I'll be darned if those babies weren't kicking up a storm (could feel it from the outside) when we got home. I am so thankful to read stories like yours, helps me relax (I oly seem to read the dreadful ones!)
