this is the first time i've felt this way in pregnancy!! kudos to me for making it to 30 1/2 weeks, i suppose

i'm just irrationally irritated at everything and nothing right now, and i'm STARVING. and dinner isn't ready. and my kiddo is doing obnoxious (not really) things like asking me to replay this one song on his kids music CD over and over again, and wanting rowdy piggy back rides. i'm just like "NOOOOOO go away!"

see? the definition of hangry. someone feed me some cake, pronto, for everyone's benefit!

I had to fast for my 2 hour glucose test I had this morning, and even after a huge lunch I was still hungry.

Then I went to visit a friend in another department at work, and they had chocolate birthday cake for someone. It was amazing! And now DH is out at a hockey game, and I'm waiting for Dominos. I'm going to enjoy carbs and sweets right now in case that test doesn't come back with good results...

i made my mom's chocolate chip oatmeal peanut butter cookie recipe and they're currently baking in the oven

i think that should do the trick! my blood sugar is a bit more stable now after wolfing down a bowl of chicken pot pie, and we have Captain Phillips on DVD for date night as soon as kiddo is tucked in.

ok...... deep breath.... life is much happier now

I refused to go to the grocery store today and have just been eating everything I can in this house. Including most of the mini banana bread loaves I made last night. So much for sharing...
