    I love my last name.  It's the one I grew up with and I kept it after I got married.

    I did ask DH to take my last name, but he didn't want to change his self identity (and I'm pretty sure he worried about getting ribbed from his family and friends).

  • i prefer my husband's name.  both names are pretty ethnic (german) but his is easier to spell/have people hear correctly over the phone.  i dropped maiden altogether. i think even if we were to divorce i would keep his name, becuase i'd want the same name as dd and any future children.
