Take a look at the ingredients. Sometimes they don't actually use raw eggs in the dough for ice cream--it's mostly sugar, flour and flavor in addition to chocolate.

Nah, eat and enjoy. The amount of actual raw egg in those 10 bites of cookie dough isn't going to hurt anything.

Cookie dough ice cream isn't made with a regular cookie dough.  You're ok.

the egg in cookie dough is for the cooking part, to help them up.  the ice cream is safe!

I would guess that the FDA wouldn't allow actual raw eggs in cookie dough ice cream. I bet there are no eggs or they are pasturized. Eat away!!

I don't think they can actually sell cookie dough in ice cream with raw eggs in it. Too much of a liability.

My son has a pretty intense egg allergy and when I bought some this past week and read the label there wasn't any egg in it. Just read the label if it is something you are worried about.

Last pregnancy, I ended up calling Cold Stone corporate office on Christmas Eve because I had just purchased a tub of their "batter" ice cream that had like three different types of dough in it.  She confirmed that everything was fully pasturized.  I felt like a crazy person but was glad I called.  I am also glad someone picked up on Christmas Eve because I couldn't wait any longer to eat that sh!t!

I'm sure they make it without eggs like most "cookie dough" products. Especially because these foods are such big hits with kids. I have had a TON of cookie dough ice cream this pregnancy.
