How often do you travel? At least 2 trips. Usually a ski trip and somewhere in the summer. This year we went on 3 since the baby is coming.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? St. Lucia
Where did you go on your last vacation? San Francisco in April. I'm so jealous of the weather there!
What are your favorite things about travel? Just getting away from worries, the food, relaxation, spending time with DH, experiencing new cultures and seeing new things.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Somewhere in-between. We will splurge on great food but usually try to go moderate on hotels if we can.
What/when is your next vacation? We are going to Destin next month, but we are currently saving up to take a big trip to Greece/Egypt in 2 years (hopefully!)
What has been your favorite vacation so far? We went to Europe last summer right when we started TTC. We spent 3 weeks and saw Italy, Switzerland, France, & England. I've been wanting to go back ever since, especially Italy.

Where did you go on your last vacation? We just went to Vermont for a long weekend, before that we went to Atlantic city for a long weekend.
What are your favorite things about travel? No computers, no work! And eating out a lot
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Hrm, hard one! I think in between. Travelling in itself is kind of a splurge, as it's not really a neccessity, so we don't stay at 5 star hotels while we are travelling. We try to get good deals but definitely won't cheap out to save money as the whole point is to enjoy yourself!
What/when is your next vacation? Leaving for England in... 8 hours!
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Well, I have only been to three countries (Canada, USA and England) so I would say England as I have lived in America and Canada. When we live in England I am sure I will be able to see so many more places so much easier, and will have a different opinion then!
How often do you travel? We used to travel more, with three kids, a husband in school, etc, not the norm now.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? Fulbright to Ukraine replaced our honeymoon...And DD and I went while DH stayed in the states

Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? I am a cheap traveler. When I do Europe, I do hostel's, when we are in the states, we pack lunches and snacks for the trip etc. I would rather see awesome things then spend money on the trip. That and I am cheap in general

What has been your favorite vacation so far? My favorite was a break from my Fulbright where I met friends in Munich and took a train through the Alps down to Rome for a week.
How often do you travel? We try to travel as often as possible. We usually do one international trip a year and then several local trips.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? The Western Balkans - Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, and Albania
Where did you go on your last vacation? Charleston, SC for our anniversary
What are your favorite things about travel? I love trying new things and exploring different parts of the world.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? We usually travel as cheaply as possible, which has definitely made for some interesting stories. We always fly coach and try to stay at hostels or budget hotels.
What/when is your next vacation? We are going to Portland and Seattle in August. We want to take a babymoon and are trying to make Iceland work.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Over the Christmas holidays we went to Sri Lanka and Malaysia. It turned out to be a much better trip than we expected. Everyone was so friendly and the whole experience was pretty amazing.
How often do you travel? We seem to do one big trip every other year. But we do travel up to NH to ski at least once a winter (DH goes a few times a month) and we go to the Cape at least two weekends a month in the summer.

Where did you go on your last vacation? Last May we went to Italy for 2 weeks. We also took an extended weekend to Tampa for a friends wedding in October

Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? In between, but leaning toward splurge. Like I said, we only do big trips every couple of years and our trips to NH for skiing and the Cape are free because our parents' have houses that we stay at.
What/when is your next vacation? Nothing is planned. I'd like to plan something for September to be our babymoon/anniversary
What has been your favorite vacation so far? hands down, Italy. We've been wanting to go back ever since we got home.

How often do you travel? DH and I take at least one big international trip each year (so far we've been to South Africa, South America (Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay) and Europe (Spain, France and Italy). We take several other small trips each year as well.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? South America (6 nights in Cape Town and 6 nights on safari in Kruger National Park)
Where did you go on your last vacation? Just got back from a 5 night trip to Disney World.
What are your favorite things about travel? Eating lots of yummy food, relaxing and sight-seeing.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? We typically splurge when on vacation. We only like to stay at nice hotels and we like to eat at nice restaurants. We are good about finding good deals on hotels and flights though.
What/when is your next vacation? We are going on an Alaskan cruise in August. Can't wait! It should be an awesome and relaxing babymoon.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? The South African trip will most likely be the most amazing trip of my life. Words can't describe how incredible it was!

How often do you travel? We usually do one big vacation and a few other long weekend trips each year.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? Playa del Carmen

Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Somewhere in-between for big vacations, but our long weekend trips are usually done cheap.
What/when is your next vacation? We'll probably do a long weekend at the beach before the summer is over. We usually drive to Gulf Shores, Alabama.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Our honeymoon, by far. It was our first vacation where it was just the two of us. Also, I did a study abroad program in Europe and it was amazing, but DH (then boyfriend) wasn't with me. I'd love to go back to Italy as a couple.

How often do you travel? maybe once or twice a year, even if it is just somewhere in state.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? We are getting married Oct 1st this year (planned before we found out we were pregnant) and will just be going to the ocean.
Where did you go on your last vacation? South Carolina to visit my brother and his family.
What are your favorite things about travel? getting away from the daily grind, and being able to relax and not worry about work.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? I prefer to travel cheap, and spend the money I save on things while on vacation.
What/when is your next vacation? Possibly going to my moms next month.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? trips to North and South Carolina, I miss it out there.

If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? We only had one night at the resort where we got married (DH is military), so every vacation since has been like a honeymoon.
Where did you go on your last vacation? We went to Bermuda in May. It was incredible
What are your favorite things about travel? Spending time with DH and exploring new cultures. We're both outdoorsy history nuts, so we divide our time between hikes and nature-related trips, and museum-y stuff.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? I'm constantly on the hunt for deals at splurge-worthy hotels and locations. We try to save as much money as possible on our hotel so we can spend money on food. Most of the activities we like to do are free.
What/when is your next vacation? We're going to Europe (Greece, Turkey, Croatia, and Italy) in August.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? We spent 16 days in Italy in 2007 as DH's R&R in the middle of a 16 month deployment to Iraq. It was 2+ weeks of heaven.
How often do you travel? We go some where at least once a year. Plus, we move every four years so it seems like we are constantly traveling.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? We got married and honeymooned in Hawaii. We island hopped after the ceremony.
Where did you go on your last vacation? The Midwest. Seems boring, I know, but we live in a very popular vacation area right now.
What are your favorite things about travel? Seeing new places and experiencing new experiences with loved ones. I am not one to spend all my time or even a decent portion of it at the pool or beach.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? In-between. I will not stay at the cheap, gross hotels or camp on the ground but I am not one to need to eat at four star restaurants either.
What/when is your next vacation?
Not sure. We are moving to who knows where next year and LO is due this winter so there are no real big trips planned at this time. We do have a bunch of little weekend and day trips planned though - the Disney parks, the keys and hopefully a cruise.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? I love Europe! I lived there for a while in college and got the opportunity to see most of it while there. However, my favorite had to have been our honeymoon in Hawaii because I was there with DH and I got to spend some time in paradise with my family and friends.
How often do you travel? We used to do several mini to small vacations throughout the year and a few years we did a big one and just some weekenders. Since money is tight we don't travel nearly as much as we used to.

What/when is your next vacation? I have 2 family reunions in July. One in Illinois and one in West Virgina. We were planning on Ireland in March but the baby coming puts that out of the question at this point.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? oh that's hard...ive been on several cruises that I love but honestly going on our honeymoon was the best because we could hardly be reached, we were alone (we often travel with friends/relatives) and it was the most relaxing time I've ever had.
How often do you travel? about every 2 months we fly to New England or to Florida to visit family. DH only gets 14 days combines PTO annually, so our "vacations" are now visiting family.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? Florida, we ate our way from west to east coast. We really like food.

What are your favorite things about travel? New sights, getting new experiences. We aren't pool/beach people, so we hit up lots of dining hot spots, museums, and do a lot of walking.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? In-between. Depends on the location. I like to hit up high end hotels on the cheap.
What/when is your next vacation? Unsure, we were going to go back to New England, but due to Baby #2 needing to take up some of DH's vacation time, he is booked out with his PTO and it would just be my and #1 traveling, which is not as nice as going with DH.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Together: we used to go to Montreal for a few nights every month, which I loved. Apart: We both went to Europe for a few months at different times in our lives (I lived in Iceland for about 6 months and then traveled around central/western Europe for 2 months and DH lived in Sweden for 2 months for hockey), and we can't wait to take our kids there-probably will hit up Sweden in the next 5 years to visit my family.

Where did you go on your last vacation? Cozumel Mexico for a dive trip.
What are your favorite things about travel? We love to scuba dive so we usually plan to do that if it is tropical. otherwise, i love getting to know the local culture and trying new things.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? We usually splurge on the travel if it is far but then try to go on the moderate side for accomodations and food.
What/when is your next vacation? We are taking a mini babymoon to PEI in July for 4 days. It will be nice and relaxing. I was hoping to return to Japan (I went to school there in College) this summer but I can't make that flight pregnant and it is too much to spend with a baby on the way.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Together- Thailand and Cambodia for our honeymoon. I fell in love with Cambodia and it was a great balance between diving and cultural exploration which are my 2 favorite things to do. I also have traveled alot without DH for work and loved my trip to China.
How often do you travel? Usually about 2 a year- out of state, a lot of little trips in the midwest during the summer though!
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? Cruise to St Maarten, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands, Haiti (we were there the Friday before the earthquake!), and I think one other stop. We also spent some time in Naples, FL after the cruise.

What are your favorite things about travel? Being far away from work, and spending quality time with MH. I love to relax, read and sit on the beach.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? I will also say we are inbetween. More splurgey though, I dont like staying in 'in-between' hotels, but won't be ridiculous when it comes to buying what I want.
What/when is your next vacation? Naples FL, MH parent's have a condo there, so we like to go there once a year. This year it will be August, pregnant in FL in August... ekkk! It's the only time that works with both our schedules, so I'll take it!
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Our honeymoon for sure, it was the most relaxing/best time ever. I loved seeing all the different places, and loved having the same room to sleep in at night.

One big overseas trip a year, then I go to Houston about 2-3 times a year (originally from there) and California 2-3 times (used to live there) and then one or two smaller trips, I went to NYC last fall with some girlfriends, so that was fun, hubby goes to Alaska and Vegas a lot, I used to tag along. It varies every year.

What has been your favorite vacation so far? Hard to pick, I lived overseas for most of my life and traveled a lot. Probably great barrier reef in Australia (lived in Melbourne at the time). I also loved driving through Big Sur in CA w/ my hubby. We did it 7 times in 2 years!

Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Depends on the trip. We usually splurge for one thing every trip (one night in a nice hotel, a nice dinner, etc.) but overall like to be cheap.
What/when is your next vacation? Next vacation is in July- ten days in Cape Cod! My ILs have a place there so all we have to pay for is airfare.

How often do you travel? When we can. The last vacation (other than visiting family and friends in southern CA was to Central Cali in 2009.

Where did you go on your last vacation? Central California - more specifically: Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach (it was our anniversary / baby moon when pregnant with my DD)
What are your favorite things about travel? Experiencing new places
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Generally speaking we travel inexpensively but we don't neglect our wants by any means.
What/when is your next vacation? We are going on a 10 day Cruise to Alaska (with the inlaws - who are paying!!!!) in August.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Traveling the Yucatan Peninsula. We did what the books said would take 2 weeks in 5 days. We didn't stay in Cancun or that area. We drove the entire peninsula and visited several Maya ruins. That was an adventure my DH and I will never forget. It was absolutely amazing!
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? We had a couple of weddings. A mini-honeymoon in South Africa, and another mini-one at Niagra Falls.

Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Somewhere in-between. Our splurge is usually on actually getting there - and then maybe an awesome meal. We usually go places where we can stay with someone we know & are lucky to have friends across the globe.
What/when is your next vacation? I'm going on a 3-day Caribbean cruise with my mom in a few weeks. DH & I might drive out to the beach one weekend, but nothing else huge in the works.

How often do you travel? During the summer we go to Cape Cod every weekend as my FIL owns a house down there. We do at least one trip a month the rest of the year to visit family in VT, CT.
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? the Philippines
Where did you go on your last vacation? Philly and D.C. in December- decided to go during Christmas week after seeing a Food Network show on the best cheese steak in Philly (we love food).
What are your favorite things about travel? Seeing new places, being away from 'real life', and now with DS- showing him lots of new places and things.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? We are pretty cheap when it comes to travel as we would rather spend the money on food and things to do- but not souvenirs really. We used to stay in whatever dumpy place we could find, but have upgraded a little since DS, mostly to have room so we have room for his pack and play.
What/when is your next vacation? We are going to West Palm Beach at the end of July for a week which I am super excited for as I know it will be our last vacation until next summer probably as school starts up for me a few weeks after and then the baby due in Dec. takes away other vacation time.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Loved our honeymoon in the Philippines- although I really didn't enjoy how long it took to get there and back. We would love to go back but since airfare is ridiculous to get there, we doubt we can afford it once we have 2 kids.

Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? We usually don't spend much on hotel or food and spend more money on activities/excursions/sightseeing. We will usually have a nice dinner or two. It just depends on where we are going/what we are doing.
What/when is your next vacation? Going to NYC for July 4th weekend. Dh will be there for the month of July for work but will have time to sightsee/do things on weekends/ days off. I'm going to visit for 5 days.
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Our trip to Dubai in Sept 09. Very cool experience!
If you went on a honeymoon, where did you go? We drove through upstate NY to Montreal and stayed in a B&B outside of the city.
Where did you go on your last vacation? Jordan with some gf from school. Last vaca with DH was Vienna back in September.
What are your favorite things about travel? Hotel breakfast buffets
Also, I like to look at the architecture of the city, walk the streets.
Do you like to splurge, travel cheap, or are you in-between? Depends on the trip. I like to use up DH miles for tickets and save my money for shopping!
What/when is your next vacation? Going to a wedding in Ireland next week. I've wanted to visit Ireland for a long time, and I haven't seen my friend who's getting married in a few years, so I'm really looking forward to it!
What has been your favorite vacation so far? Hmm. One summer DH's dad came to visit us and we took a road trip along the Aegean coast of Turkey. It was so relaxing and a nice way to experience the country outside of Istanbul (which is not like the rest of Turkey in sooo many ways).
