So sorry to hear this. Struck a nerve with me because we had to put off TTC for awhile after DH lost his job. Hopefully you will find a new job quickly and you can get right back to it!
That stinks getting accused of stuff you know you did not do!!!
Glad to hear you have prospects, and FX you get something that is even better!!!
Stay encourged!!!!

I'm very sorry for the loss of your job, that truly sucks. I hope you're able to fight against the accusations.
I work at a dog boarding facility, and it's awesome. It's truly a job where I am excited to be going to work everyday. Where are you located? I wonder if you're working at the chain that I work for.

Just because it's a no fault state doesn't mean that there aren't some reasons why they can't fire you. And if the allegations were false, you may have had a claim against your false accuser for interfering with your business relationship with your employer. It's never a bad idea to talk to an attorney when something like this happens. But as you've already moved on, and you quit before they could fire you, I'm not sure there's much you could do now unless you claimed it was a constructive discharge (i.e., you had no choice but to quit). In any event, those are just my thoughts off the cuff, and as I'm not licensed to practice in Indiana and am not familiar with the specific laws of that jurisdiction, this post does not constitute legal advice. The only advice I'm giving is that it's always a good idea to talk to an attorney before you make a big decision like quitting your job in a situation like this.
Good luck, and I hope the new job works out better for you than the old one. Sometimes, these things are blessings in disguise!
I am sorry, and I agree with you I wouldn't want to stay with a company that would just take someone's word over tangible proof, good luck with getting the job at the dog boarding facility!

Whoever it was said I was making vulgar comments about my husband and I's sex life, and that I was stealing merchandise and then bragging about it.
Ugh, that's ridiculous. Anyone came make up rumors like that.
