I absolutely love the name Havilland Rose.  DH and everyone else that has heard the name HATES it but just in case anyone is interested please feel free to use it. I haven't seen it mentioned here yet.  Maybe its really that terrible.

I don't think it is terrible, but it sounds like a last name to me.

The way I'm pronouncing it is the same as a furniture store near me.  It's really awful.  I don't think that you have to worry about anyone taking that atrocious name.

OP, it is pretty bad. I am all for unique names, and I tend to be pretty open to most names, but I do require that first be actual first names. Havilland isn't a first name.

I know you think it is great, but your DD would be stuck with it for the rest of her life. Don't be selfish and do that to her.

Ok, Ok I am locking that one in the bad name vault with all the cute names I picked with I was in high school like Kal'amari (before I knew what that was), Maui'anya.  I am letting DH pick two an waiting until we see which she looks like.  So far its Aria Noelle and Amber Elise.
