Did we already discuss the guy who abandoned his girlfriend and kids in the Aurora theater?  Well now he has proposed and she said yes!  ZOMG.  She isn't even mad at him?  Not only did he leave the infant on the floor but he left the theater and DROVE AWAY.  ZOMG.

Holy sh*t they are going to need some serious marriage counseling.

When I first heard this I couldn't believe it! He is p**sy! I know that word is awful but if the shoe fits. I would leave him in a heart beat! I want a man that would stand up and protect HIS family not some little boy!

He's a real peach. I get that no one knows how they would really react in a situation like that but FFS once you have seen that type of reaction see ya later buddy. I could never trust someone if they did that.

While I would not marry someone that would leave their hold on the floor during a shooting, I also would not marry someone that was on here in June crying about what should be their 4 year anniversary with their ex. How do you go from last month not being able to get over your ex to getting married. Have you ever started therapy like everyone has suggested?

OP: Don't get married, especially without your son there. You REALLY need to deal with your other issues first.

My DS's BF got married without him there as well, but they don't have a relationship.  BF sees DS about once a year and actually cut his visit short because of his wedding.  I think not having your children present speaks volumes about how you feel about them!

This. FI and I actually changed our wedding date after sh*t went sour with XH, because our original one fell on his weekend. I knew there was a snowball's chance in hell that XH would agree to switch weekends for my wedding, so...we changed the date. It now falls on my weekend and after the summer vacation period so there's no way XH has a legal right to supersede my parenting time with one of his vacation days.

 

I cannot fathom getting married without DS present. He's walking me down the aisle and having him there with me on that day means the world to me.

You are a trainwreck. I hope your XFI fights you for full custody...and wins. And not too often do I say that about BD's. You NEVER talk about your son. Only how hung up you are on what could've been with his father. And how much of a b!tch his plastic GF is.

I eloped too. But only to the courthouse lol. DH asked me to elope and if we could pull the kids out of school on Friday... I said "uh... let's do it Monday it's the first day of Spring Break so they don't have to miss school!" LOL  Can't miss school!! haha
