I did want to point out though, that due to government food subsidies, many food prices have not risen with the rate of inflation. So it was technically more expensive to feed a family back then.

I just spent $73 on groceries. But I also got a gift card for gas so it was $123. I'm kicking myself for splurging on cherries and shrimp. Sorry, but now I feel not so bad.

Sure thing! I make some coconut with panko and some just panko for popcorn shrimp. Or add into stir fry and noodles. So good, and DD loves it. Coconut shrimp makes her sing.
