He's actually doing fine I'm not sure if you saw my post from last week or not, but he has Sensory Integration Disorder, which is what is causing his delays, behavior issues, and eating issues. He's only had one session so far with the speech therapist and starting next week he will meet with her every Monday for a year. She is going to work on his oral-motor skills and hopefully that will help him to start talking more and hopefully even to try new foods. We've been paying close attention to his behavior and reactions to particular environments and if something bothers him we either remove him immediately from the situation, or make changes to accomodate him. For example, in restaurants we notice he hates being on the outside of the booth in a highchair and he also is too little for a booster, so we have a seat that attaches him to the table and we put him against the wall away from the traffic outside the table and he has been doing extremely well with that. So right now it's just trial and error, but I'm hopeful that things will get better! Thanks for asking about him.
