I like it too. And I have a very positive association with it- probably one of the kindest, most wonderful people I know is named Travis. So it is a double win for me.
Eh, it's just okay to me. It's kind of dated and I always picture it on a skateboarder/drummer type. I don't know why.
Travis was a skateboarding character from Clueless, AND Travis Barker is the drummer from Blink 182.

I never saw Clueless, but maybe that's where I get the drummer thing from. I haven't thought about Blink 182 in a looong time, but I guess the association was still in my brain

It's alright. I have a positive asociation with it. My DH and I have always joked about using it because of our mutual friend but I wouldn't pick one friends name over another. I think it's a good strong name.
