The drama...

First off I have actually been active in both the FB group and TB over the last year....and think I know why it has gotten crazy the last week. Weather Pear knows this (I don't think she did this on purpose) but the comment she posted on TB about the FB came after a mother found out her daughter had SMA ( Spinal Muscular Atrophy) which is so unfair and crazy! All of us are mothers cannot fathom the trials and hardships she will have to endure (She is one of the strongest women I know).

So hearing that women are supporting her was being " dramatic" I am sure hit a chord with many women. I know women on the bump and women on Facebook and from everything going on I can tell we are supportive of those we care about IRL or virtual....so the question is why? Why are we fighting? I do not think Pear would realize the chord that would be hit after a devastating diagnosis of one of our mothers daughter. TB or FB if any of us had that diagnosis and then someone (on purpose or not) made a comment we would go flying to there defense. How could we not?! We are all mothers who love their children. I know we do, we have all been together for so long. I do not think we will all get along all the time ( at this point we are like sister who love and hate each other) but at the same time I just think we all have to hug our children, let it go and get over it. 

Because all of the women I have met here or on Facebook all seem to be mothers who love their kids! Which makes me respect you all.

That's great, but why did FB's have to come over here and bother our whole board with frivolous posts and threats? 

The latest post calls us animals and nothing special.  Geez!

If you had a beef with Pear kick her out of your group and be done with it.  Why get the rest of us all caught in the drama?

Because everyone on tb commented on that thread saying how dramatic and stupid it all was for the fb group to be so "supportive".

I am curious as to which thread "everyone" responded to. Trying to stay out of the drama because I teach high school so I have to deal with drama like this on a daily basis, but when posters start saying "everyone", I'd really like to know what thread I posted on.

This exactly, except for teaching high school.  I taught 5th grade, though, which was pretty bad.

Can't we all just get along???!

I just went back and read it.  Six posters commented on the post before FB people got involved.

Six.

And one was liss, who commented that she didn't even know there was a FB group.

My original post

I just went back and reread it. I stand behind everything I said. I knew that not everyone would agree with my stance, which is why I mentioned that it could possibly be flameful. 

When I mentioned livening up the board, I certainly did not have all this in mind. I was really hoping it would spark a discussion about anything at all except which group is made up of bigger poopy heads.

And really, if you all had some lady gossip about not getting along with your facebook friends, I would expect no less than for you to vent about it here.
