Wal-Mart Return Policy.....

I had a diapers and formula shower and got all kinds of brands of both diapers and formula.   I need to now exchange them for ones that my LO likes.   Does anyone have any idea how much I can return to Wal-Mart without a reciept?  I am over my Target $75 already.

Any amount, I believe. If it's over $25 you will have to accept store credit, but I don't think they cap it.

They do exchanges for anything. Just make sure you have your I.d

I've never had a problem with unopened returns, and I returned a lot after my baby shower (including an unopened breast pump).  I've received both cash and gift cards with and without a receipt.

I returned diapers with DD, and the limit was $100 in merchandise without a receipt.  Also, they gave me a gift card instead of cash which wasn't a big deal.  I had DH return some once I got over my $100 limit.

There might not be a restriction on exchanges, but when I had to return some shower items w/o a receipt the customer service employee did explain some restrictions to me.  There was a dollar limit in a certain time period.  This link has the return policy  https://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=538459 It doesn't mention a dollar amount, but I'm pretty sure the employee said there was one.  I only half listened since we don't go to walmart enough to exceed the return limit.

They typically won't give you any crap if you want to exchange them for another brand/size of diapers without a receipt. However, if you're wanting cash back, that really depends on the store and even specific employee.

I was able to return the diapers and get the brand I wanted (I had no receipts). I just took them in, gave them my id, and got a store credit (gift card) with the amount on it. no questions asked. I could use the card for anything.
