Drink order

Tonight we went out to dinner and when the waiter asked me what I wanted to drink I ordered a beer!  Neither my husband or I noticed my error for a few seconds, then I changed my order to tea before the waiter left our table.  My husband was looking at me like I was crazy!  I bet that beer would have been good.  It's gonna be a long 9 months.

Haha I told H at dinner that our meals are gonna get a lot cheaper now that I'm not drinking. He had some wine when we got home and I swear I could smell it across the room.

Is it sad that I'm upset we just bought a bottle of prosecco I've been wanting to try and now I can't have it? I told H it's the first thing I'm drinking post baby!

We went out Thursday night, and we both ordered root beer.  It felt so alien to go to a steakhouse and not order a draft beer!  DH is also giving up alcohol and caffeine with me...which is very sweet and I adore, but at the same time I want him to drink a beer so I can have a little sip!

Haha last night we were going to sit by the fire & DH offered me a beer.  I just looked at him and he was like "Oh sh*t nvm"!  It's definitely going to be a long 9 months.. I really believe it will be easier when I "feel" pregnant!

I loved the smell of beer wih my first pregnancy. I would ask my BIL if I could smell his everytime we had dinner with him. It doesn't really bother me to give up alcohol, I want this baby do badly I would give up anything to have it. I'm actually givin up caffeine fully this time, and that is what's killing me. My head is pounding! But I will take it gladly just knowing I'm pregnant again.

Haha too funny! Last night we went out for my birthday and I was the only person out of my family (well besides my MIL) and close friends that were not drinking. I miss my social drinks, but it is not something I will crave often. Not having alcohol is not too hard, but because I usually don't drink too much anyway. I haven't been drinking caffeine either, well except for a couple glasses of pop I have had, but I am goin to try to go on a non-caffeine kick, just because I need to stop with the pop and since it has been so hot I haven't been wanting coffee anyway.

My husband and I have been struggling with this too.  He was stir crazy Friday night, and I said lets go out for drinks - just because I'm not drinking doesnt mean we can't go out.  I either have a virgin cocktail or a soda with lime. 

Even went out for drinks with girlfriends last night and stuck with my soda and lime.
