Completion Coupon already? BRU

I just received my completion coupon from BRU.  I'm still deciding if I'm going to register there! 

For some reason I thought you didn't get these things until much closer to your EDD?

I thought they showed up about 6 weeks before. Guess you get to go shopping whenever you are ready!

This was my first thought, because I only have a few things on there right now. (Target has been my registry friend).

I'm going to read the fine print on what I can use it for, and if I can, I'll add a few things to it so I can get the discount.

I don't think you can add things...at least I know you can't with target, I tried on my wedding registry...I don't think they can stop you from making a second one though...then getting a second coupon for the other things you need

My friend who just had her baby in June got her completion coupons from Target and BRU, and then went to both stores and added. She actually took the gun at Target, walked around and added anything she wanted to buy, and then went to the register with the items and the registry paper and used the coupon. So I don't think that your case is always going to be what happens. Maybe wedding registries are different, but you can definitely add at Target with baby registries.

I havent gotten one from BRU yet but they told me there is a 30 day waiting period for anything you add. 

The lady wasn't pleasant so who knows if that's true when I asked.

I know at BBB and Target that's not the case though.

Good to know because those are the two places I registered.

We were able to add items after we received our BRU completion coupon. This was back in fall of 2010.

Once we saw the glider/ottoman was at a huge discount for Black Friday, we added it to our registry online Thursday night & MH went out at like 4 am Friday when they opened & bought it using the coupon on top of the sale.

I got my completion coupon today too! How much was yours for? Mine was 10%. I thought it was supposed to be 15%.

I've heard of places doing this, including BBB. I would go back in and tell them they told you it would be for 15%. I had a friend do this with BBB and they honored it. They had told her 15% when she registered.
