8 lb guideline with carriers

I have a 7 lbs 2 oz little girl who is 12 days old. I also have a moby and a baby bjorn that are staring at me. I know that the guideline for both 8 lbs for using them...do you all stick with that or am I being a silly FTM for letting them sit around waiting for her to fatten up?

Me too.   I was worried, but he loved it and it made it a lot easier to get stuff done.
