I let DD nap on me most of the time after we are done nursing. This is the only way she will get a proper nap during the day. I've pretty much given up trying to get her to nap in her crib, it's just so much easier this way. Plus I'm sort of hoping when the grandparents start babysitting in 2 weeks they will be the ones to sleep train her.

All this. Ateal, I admire the h3ll out of you and love reading your posts. You're stunning. I can't imagine how you feel post preg, as I know it's been hard for most of us, and we aren't going through what you do. You're insanely strong. I know you'll succeed for Eden, and everyone here will be here for you through it all!

Here's a story that will hopefully put your incredibly stupid actions into perspective, Mrs. Green:

One of my former 8th grade teachers, who was very well respected and loved by the students, was driving down a major highway with her husband and daughter one weekend in May.  They were returning from her daughter's college graduation.  Some assh?le thought it would be a grand idea to text while he was driving.  He plowed into my former teacher's car, which in turn caused a truck to also crash and put everyone in his car in danger.  My former teacher and her husband were killed, and their daughter was barely hanging on to life.

Her daughter was extremely lucky - despite severe, traumatic injuries, she survived.  She now has lifelong complications due to those injuries, injuries inflicted by some jack?ss who thought he was invincible and could "handle" texting while driving.  Her parents are gone.  The school that my teacher taught at scrambled to get grief counselors into the building, especially since school was still in session.  Today, her daughter is a huge leader in the campaigns to stop people from doing what you, Mrs. Green, are being so flippant about.

You are not the only one on the road.  You are not invincible, nor are the innocent lives you are putting in danger every single time you pick up your phone and text/Bump/FB while you are driving.  Please stop what you are doing, at least for the sake of the thousands of innocent people sharing the road with you. 

Was this the one on 222 a few years ago? If so I remember how horrible that accident was.

Also, I hate smartphones. I think that everyone that has them is pretentious and wasting their money. But, the only real reason I will not get one is that I do not want to pay for the data package. It is not worth it to me to more than double my monthly bill, and O do not want to change providers. That said, DH and I are obsessed with our iPod Touches and I sometimes wish I had wifi when I am not at home. Yup, I'm a hypocrite.

DH and I shared a net10 prepaid because we don't like contracts and it was $15/month. We never used the 150 min that came with it. We had it for emergencies only and only got it when DS was born. Since I was in the hospital for a week and the phone was my lifeline out, we did their $50/month one but I couldn't post from it since it was the cheapest phone, it was basically free since the phone came with two months of service which is what we paid for the phone. We decided I would get my own phone last month since I was back at work. I ended up getting a Droid from Virgin Mobile. It was on sale for $140 when we bought it. I pay $35/month for unlimited data, text, and email it has a limit of 300 min which I only used 87 min. I went back to Radio Shack for a case and saw it was even cheaper at $99. I was able to get my $40 since in was under 30 days and I got a $30 gift card. We priced the contracts and they couldn't touch unlimited data for what we pay for both.

My hairstylist is selling a lot of her baby items. She had a highchair/grocery cart cover for sale. Her salon is about 5 minutes from our house. DH watched LO while I went to pick it up. I also stopped and got my eyebrows waxed. I told him I would be straight back. He just got back in town from being gone for 2 weeks. Momma needed a break!

Nah, I guess it's still more of a size thing. I like the pics just to take up the size of yours or mine. I think it's just because the collages are so much bigger and it's harder to scroll on my iphone. Plus, you can't even see the smaller pics that well so it doesn't even really seem like you're showing them off that much. Clutter freaks me out though, so maybe that has something to do with it. I have issues...

I'm not a touchy or feely person, but after reading this I just wanted to send hugs to you, Ateal.  I can't think of anything else to say that doesn't come off as trite, so just sending more "ignore that biatch troll, you're beautiful" support your way.

 

Also, I totally judge ALL my neighbors for not recycling.  DH and I are the only ones on our little street who do.

My kid wears the same clothes all day.  I'm pretty sure she's worn some things for two days straight.  Days all blend together when you barely leave the house, so I lose track.  Plus, she hates to be dressed.  But she loves to be naked.  DH says we might not have to pay for college

AND, I treasure my dumb phone and $18 a month phone bill!

I've never had an ED before But I've always been so thing. However n ow that im not pregnant anymore and im 112 pounds and my jeans still dont fit...i find myself...eating only once a day. I was never a huge eater, I really don't like food that much I eat because it's a bodily necessity not because I enjoy it. I don't know if im refraining from food more because subconciously I want to be 104 again or because I'm busy...
