Gerber GS users - did you switch to GS2?

If your baby used Gerber Goodstart, did you switch to Goodstart 2 at 9 mos (I believe that it what the package says)?
I asked my doc at my 6 mos appointment and she said just to keep her on Goodstart. Buttttt GS2 is about $3 cheaper for the big container, and while that isn't a ton, every little bit helps right now.
We have been on GS since day 4-ish (mixed with breastmilk at first until that no longer worked after about 6 wks) and haven't had any issues really. Just wondering if it's really a change in formula and how different it would be since it's still Goodstart. I'm just trying to make an educated decision before we switch or not in about another month.

    Oh, and this should say Goodstart Gentle, by the way. Not sure if the other GS have "2"s. :)
