LO is 3 weeks today. The first 2 weeks I barely noticed any pain from my stitches etc but all of a sudden this week I notice a "stinging" pain sometimes when I pee. My stitches were supposed to disolve on their own in about 10 days, so I assume they are gone, but I really don't know. I tried to look down there with a mirror to see what was going on but it all looks pretty different now than pre pregnancy so I really don't know what it's "supposed" to look like now...
Anyone else still having a little pain at this point? I don't go back to the doc for another 3 weeks, so trying to figure out if I should get looked at early... tia
Re: how are you healing??
Make a pregnancy ticker
it doesn't feel like UTI burning, it does feel like it's in the location of where the stitches are/were/would have been. i'll have to check into the granualar thing... i just thought it was weird that i didn't really have pain but now all of a sudden i notice the pain... it's not super painful, just kind of annoying when i go to the bathroom, also have some pressure down there but assume that will still be normal for a few more weeks.
thanks ladies

Waiting on our second little peanut!
I'm 6 wks postpartum and still a little sore down there. Went to the dr today for my 6 wk check and she said all looks normal. However, when I look down there it doesn't look like it looked pre-preg. Will it ever look like it did?
Tried to BD with my hubby tonight and it burned
I'm 4 weeks postpartum, and my episiotomy/tear sites began bleeding slightly again about a week ago. There is an occasional burning pain still also. I don't know if it;s really normal or not, but I don't have the time or motivation to go to the doctor, so I;m waiting. Plus, my tailbone is fractured and I leak urine constantly, so my body is pretty much wrecked anyway.
Are you still soaking the site? Maybe try that a couple of times per day.
You are brave for looking! I decided I wasn't going to look at mine when I was in the hospital and the nurses were getting other nurses to show them my perineum because it was apparently so horrendous. Good times! Well worth it for my baby boy, but I didn't expect so much trauma.
