Really, getting sick at 39 weeks???

 I have a sore throat that is getting worse as the day goes on, and i have a feeling it's not going to get better anytime soon.

 It will be so much fun to be sick while in labor...ugh

I got a cold right around my EDD, but thankfully it didnt really affect my labor (3 days later). It came back a few days after LO was born though, and that sucked! Rest up and take care of yourself!

My Dr. told me (and my doula corroborated) women often don't go into labour when sick...it's like your body can only concentrate on 1 thing at a time!  I'm feeling better now after having a nasty cold for about a week, hope you are too
