bleeding---worried, need T&P

Hi, So I am a teacher and on my feet all day at work. I went to the bathroom at the end of school today and noticed pink blood in my undies and when I wiped. Not a lot, but fresh, so I worried. I called the OB and she said that since I have an appt on friday, they would do an U/S then. She said that if it doesn't stop by tomorrow I need to come in....otherwise, she said rest and don't go to the gym tonight. 

Someone please tell me its ok, baby is ok, or something. T&P please.  Thanks,

    This happened to me around 12-13 weeks. Everything ended up being fine. I had an irritated cervix and just had to rest. I was back to work as long as the spotting/pinkish/brown stopped within 24 hours and it did....sending thoughts and prayers your way. I am sure and hope everything will be fine! Stay positive.

    I cannot tell you it will be okay, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Take it easy - and your students will understand if they have a supply teacher for a few days.  Relax as much as you can, and keep positive.  If something was seriously wrong your OB would have called you in right away I'm sure!

    i'm sorry hun, bleeding and spotting is really scary, even though it doesn't mean anything is necessarily wrong. try to stay calm, get off your feet and drink lots of water tonight. i hope it stops soon.

    Did you have sex or strain to have a bowel movement recently?  Sometimes a simply strain to the cervix can cause some blood vessels to tear. 

    Try to relax and keep an eye on the bleeding. If at any point you feel like it's not stopping or it's getting worse, just go to the ER.

    Keep your head up and take it easy. I am a teacher as well and had the same thing happen around the same time. I ended up just having overdone myself. Take all of the advice in the above posts!

    I had light pink spotting at 16w. It was just when I wiped. It ended up being a busted blood vessel. They did an U/S and LO was just fine :)
