No bleeding after stripping membranes?

I was so worried to have my membranes stripped today but it wasn't bad at all! I was told I would have some spotting and cramping but have had neither. Now I am worried it wasn't a "good" stripping! Baby is still high and my midwife had a hard time reaching my cervix in the first place (sorry TMI). I am 40 weeks 5 days, 74% and 2-3 cms. What has been your experience?

I had the exact same thing happen to me on monday. They say if theres no result from it within 48 hrs of the sweep, it was a fail. So I assume... it probably wasnt a good sweep. In my experience anyway...
But give it the 48 hrs, it could still work!!

With my last pregnancy, I had them stripped and had no bleeding or discomfort until late  that evening when I thought I was peeing myself...my water was breaking.

i had my stripping done yesterday afternoon..it was quite painful.. i passed my bloody mucus plug in the evening with some spotting .. having painless inconsistent contractions since then ...lets see if labor begins..or else i have a biophysical profile for monday and induction for wednesday .

with my first i bleed right away and had him the next day.

today i had them stripped and nada. im pretty disappointed but i guess it could still have results in the next 24 hours

I had it done at 38 weeks and had no bleeding and only slight cramping.  I was induced 11 days later.
