Who watched Vegas last night?

I am so pumped about this season.  There are already a fair few that I really like.  And at least one that I lurve.

me, me, me!!!!!!!! I am so excited for this season and I have definitely picked out a few favorites which I rarely do before the actual competition starts. So excited!

I was starting to think I was the only fan on this board which would be unacceptable.

Can we talk about how amazing Cyrus is?  I mean, I LOVE him.  Not even just for how awesome he is in his own style, but everything about his attitude and personality is just so endearing.  I feel like maybe they pushed him through over dancers with better all-around technique but I don't care.  I really, really hope he makes it into the Top 20. 

I also love Chehon (the ballet guy).  And even though whitney (latin ballroom) is annoying on camera, I can't take my eyes off her when she dances.  She's light years better than her friend, the other latin ballrooom girl.

me too!  That Sirus guy who danced for his life last night was...SIIICKK!!  I would say "buck" but I kinda hate that term!  I also really liked the belly dancer chic....I wish I could do that!!

YES, the ballet guy at the end (I'm terrible w/ names) holy crap was that good!

Also a fan, but I haven't watched it yet. I usually watch it with Mac when he's up at 5, but he slept until 6 am today. I'm a bigger fan of sleep. But I'll check in after I watch.

I was so sad that the guy that made it to the top 20 last year didn't make it through Vegas this year!  I thought he was really good!  I think they didn't think his face was pretty enough. 

I was also sad that the hip hop dancer girl got sent home.  She was SO good!!! 

But I LOVE the Swiss ballet dancer dude.  That guy can jump 10 feet in the air!

And I don't remember, did the belly dancer make it through?  H isn't crazy about her but I've taken a belly dancing class.  That ***'s not easy.  She is incredible.  And she's from Alabama, so I'll be cheering for her!

She did.  And I'm sure she'll make it to the Top 20 because she's beautiful and they need variety.  Every year there are more and more contemporary dancers in the Top 20.

Good!  That's exciting.  She is beautiful and you're totally right about the contemporary dancers.  But I guess they tend to be the most versatile too.

I'm so annoyed that Danielle got booted after the group round!  She got KICKED. IN. THE. HEAD.  They let stripper girl dance for her life, throw Danielle a bone!

How does everyone feel about silent film girl?  I like her, but I feel like not everyone does.

Eff! I knew I was missing something! Damn DH and his stupid Dallas. We really need a second TV.

I don't like her.  She takes the silent film gimmick too far IMO.  But I did love her To Kill A Mockingbird solo--it's was lovely.  I just think she's one dimensional as a "character" and that won't translate well at all into the choreographed routines.

Yeah, that was f'd up.  That poor girl.  I always confused her with the belly dancer though.  Stripper girl was ridic.

I wasn't crazy about silent film girl's original audition but I thought her last dance was great.  I'm pretty sure she makes it through because I thought I saw her in one of the clips at the end of the top 20 dancers.

I'm on the fence about liking her but I think you are right she might have a tough time w/ choreography.

I DVR'd Dallas...that theme song takes me back to my chilhood...my mom LOVED Dallas!
