What do you think. My 4 yr old niece said this is what we need to name the baby and me and DH actually like it alot. Do you know alot of Wyatt's? I can think of 2 one grown and one a child.
I love the name Wyatt. DH loves it too but we want to have a Leo for a boy, and our first girl name has Piper in it, so we are afraid that people we think we are HUGE Charmed fans. We are fans of the show, but not obsessively so.

I have a Wyatt Thomas that is 4. I see that it s becoming more popular but you still don't see that many. The only problem is now we are having a hard time with another boy name because we both were set on Wyatt from the time we found out we were pregnant with him and are at a loss for another boys name!
I know 2 Wyatts -- one is 9 the other is 4, and I don't know that many kids. But it really doesn't matter how many any one person knows. Nationally, Wyatt is ranked at #48, and has been steadily rising the past decade. Check out the Social Security Administration's page (ssa.gov). They have separate lists for each state, so you can see how popular it really is in your area. That will give you a more objective answer than asking people on the board how many they know.
FWIW, I love the name Wyatt. I think it's a great choice.

It's a little too "old west" for me. I know 3 little boys named Wyatt, and they all come from Texas. They hunt, have big farms, wear cowboy hats. And it reminds me of Wyatt Earp.

I really like it. I used to nanny a little boy named Wyatt when I lived in L.A.. He's the only one I've ever met with this name. I don't think it's west or cowboy.
