I'm in ny...at night outside its around 30 or 40 but my heat keeps it around 68 to 70 plus his fan is on. Its the terry pjs..not fleece. I always put a onsie underneath. Socks too? Thoughts? Just randomly doubting myself...thx!
I have been doing this since it got cold. They have socks on right now under their PJs! My sister made fun of me but it keeps them a little bit warmer so why not?
Oops, I just noticed you have the heat set at 70. That seems kind of warm to me. It is actually better to be a little cooler at night. If you have it set that warm, I would think a onsie, socks and sleep sack would be good enough. Or just the PJs. The recommended temp is no higher than 68 to help prevent SIDS. They also sleep better when cooler (I know I do!).
With the house between 68-70? No way! I keep our place between 68-70 and DD would sweat to death if I layered under her pj's. It gets super cold here and she stays really warm with footed pj's only. (And in her sleep sack.)

This. If it was 70 in here, DS would probably have to sleep in short sleeved/shorts PJs or else he'd get all sweaty.
