We never had bought a swing for DS but we did spend a lot of time rocking the car seat when he slept in that, so I want to get a swing for this next baby. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Re: What's the best infant swing these days?
Graco makes a frame that basically turns the infant carrier into a swing. ?I don't know how well it works, but I like that it could easily be put away. ?Similarly, Boppy makes a small take along swing that doesn't take up much space.
Can you tell that we are trying to stay away from tons of bulky gear this time?
?
I really liked the Papasan swing by fisher price. Both of my DS's loved that thing and they used it for quite a while. I think we definitely got our moneys worth out of that. The only problem was that it would go through batteries so fast. But, they do have a new and improved one that gives you the option to plug it in. It just looks so comfy too. Here is the link. Good luck!

I second the FP Papasan Swing. That thing was a lifesaver!

I couldn't find the original papsan swing, but we just registered for this one. DD hated her front to back swing so I thought we should give this one a try.
