OTW: What is your TV guilty Pleasure? DVR'd Days of Our Lives or Vampire Diarie's when on
Updates or vents? Anyone have a/s gender announcements to add to the checkin? I really really really miss sleeping thru the night or even getting more than 2 hours of continuous sleep. I know that it's just going to be worse later on and after the baby is born, but I thought I would have at least a little while before it started... Whine over.

Updates or vents? Anyone have a/s gender announcements to add to the checkin? Last week was busy/awesome: I passed my 1HR Glucose Test!!! I'm super excited about that because I LOVE sugar in any form and have been struggling to keep my treats to a minimum and not succeeding, we did the maternity tour at our hospital, my cousin had a healthy baby girl (same hospital so it was great to ask questions and see the baby), we ordered our nursery furniture. Phew!

I had NT scan last Friday. The NT measurement was 2.3, nasal bone was present, the head measured small but one 1 deviation, they found a choroid plexus cyst on her brain, and the heart was normal. I didn't have an NT scan with my DS so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was a little thrown by the information on the nasal bone and the head measurement. I guess I should have done more research but I didn't know they did those. The amniotic fluid is still high but the doctor isn't highly concerned about that.
The doc said it is a girl. It seems early to me but he said he saw the lines and it is a girl.

I have watched days off and on for over 25yrs. YIKES, that makes me sound old. I watched it daily when on my one year mat leave with DS and have recently started watching in on Demand on weekends.
I'm hoping you will still get some good sleeps in before baby comes. Afterward, I napped when baby napped and after he was sleeping from 11pm to 5 or 6am (about 6w) things go much easier.

For your NT scan, are you having the two blood draws (1st and 2nd tri) along with the u/s. If that's the case, it will give you a much better picture of your odds, than the scan alone will. Your measurement is within the acceptable range, and seeing the nasal bone is also a good sign. As for the cyst, I read somewhere recently that most docs do not consider those to be a marker for Downs anymore because they are found frequently and in most cases resolve on their own before delivery.
I had an ER u/s at 14w and the ER doc said he thought LO was a boy. I'm not convinced (I was pretty sure it is a girl, up until he said otherwise). I guess we'll find out for sure in a few weeks.

Mortifying, but the Kardashians. It is my total brainless tv time.
Updates or vents? I've had tons of BH contractions lately, need to start drinking water when I get up in the middle of the night.
