Still no baby

I'm four days overdue.  For the last few days, that hasn't bothered me.  But last night I had what I thought were timeable contractions and was getting pretty excited.  DH and I went to bed early thinking that we'd have to get up in the middle of the night.  Fast forward to 6 am and I've had not even a twinge in the last two and a half hours.  It's one thing to be late, it's another to get my hopes up!

I feel you! I'm 6 days late now and he contractions just keep coming and going. It's incredibly depressing! I just keep telling myself he is coming out soon, one way or another. . .

I'm sorry; being over due sucks. 

Things might be starting for you though. I had the same thing happen to me. Was having contractions the night before but they stopped in the morning. I was disappointed but then they started up again a few hours later and I had my baby that day. 

Maybe your body is getting ready and today could be the day! Hang in there!

I'm with you!  Everyone including my midwife thought I was going to go early, so this late thing is really starting to get to me!  On Thurs I found out I was already 4 cm, 80% effaced, and baby is at -1.  I haven't so much as had a contraction!  My BH are definitely stronger, but not even as frequent as they used to be.  Guess we're making a good home for these babies!!  Hopefully things will get going for you soon.
