Baby dropping

Hey - does anyone know if there is a timeline after the baby noticably drops that reliably predicts labor?  I've heard that it takes at least two weeks from when she drops until I can expect her to make an appearance.  I'm still carrying really high and I'm less than two weeks from my due date.  Does anyone have any info?

    Not true. The baby can drop weeks before and it can also drop during labor. It all just depends on your baby and your body.

    This is also what I have heard. My baby has not dropped either.

    I'm told baby can do a lot in labor! Mine is still riding very very high and I'm due on Saturday.

    When I went to the Dr. last week, she said the baby hadn't dropped at all, but that that didn't mean a thing! Thankfully :)
