I've created a monster... Linus isn't talking much yet. He knows momma and dadda but doesn't say them much anymore. He's started saying baby, he quacks (yeah, like a duck- but it comes out "cop cop"), tries to say kitty (comes out kee kee), and you'll get a hi or bye occasionally. When he started pointing at everything I'd say "what's that? It's a kitty/ball/light, etc." I didn't even purposely do it- just one of those things you just say without thinking. Starting 3 days ago he.won't.stop. It's still adorable, but EVERYTHING ALL.DAY.LONG is "whathat? whathat? whathat?" Literally for 5+ minutes straight he will point at everything and anything in the room and say "whathat?" over and over. It cracks me up, but I can only take so much of hearing the same exact sound all day long.
Re: "what's that?"
I love it! Nora just points and says "dat?" or "iss?" (that and this, I guess)
Sometimes she just points and grunts lol.
My DS's go-to sound is a cross between 3 words he knows, cat, dog and duck that comes out sounding like ***. LOL.
Edit: Ha! I guess the bump doesn't like the word...it's another word for rooster.
