Yep! We just bought a Ford Edge. Had a lot more head room/space compared to some of the others we looked at.
This is exactly what I want. We have a newer Chevy Impala but with 2 car seats plus stuff it will be packed. Plus I was a Jeep Grand Cherokee girl for 10 years so I love SUVs but need something more fuel efficient since my commute is 50 miles round trip.
I'm curious about why people think they need a bigger car when they are having their first or second baby? I currently have three children in carseats (two still RF) and drive a Honda Civic. I'm really upset that I have to get a larger vehicle for #4. I'll miss the eco-friendly driving and money we save on gas
One baby doesn't take up that much space in a car.

I don't even have trunk space- the convertible top pretty much fills it up. I can't even fit a suitcase in it then the top is up, let alone a stroller. My passenger seat would have to be moved all the way forward to fit a carseat, so I couldn't go anywhere with the three of us. Some cars are just that small.
Plus I think it's so annoying to have to move the seat forward and move the seatbelt every time I want to take the baby out or put it in.

I totally get it in your case with the convertible or with the ladies that have a truck. Otherwise I'm not understanding.
