DD1 is 3.5yo, 42inches, and 43lbs. Although we used BG's with her as a toddler, she's been in disposible 'pull-ups' for nap and bedtime since potty training. While she'll often stay dry for nap, I'm not ready to push the night training issue since I just don't think her body's ready.
Has anyone had success with larger size trainers or other options? Which ones did you like best?
Re: Preschooler options?
We have a few trainers we use at night with our three year old - Flips, Kissaluvs and Fuzzibunz. The Kissaluvs are probably my favorites - the FB are great, too, but they're getting too small, so they're not in the rotation as often since I can't "stuff" them as much. That's the only issue, though - think I'll get him the next size up.
The Flips are fine and absorb really well- they're his favorite to wear, too, the "Albert" pattern, which he calls his "math diaper" - but I find they retain stinkiness after washing, which the others don't :-( This was my first time trying Flips.
Another mom on this board recommended some really cool looking trainers off Hyena Cart to me, but I never was able to remember to check in on stocking day. You'll probably get some other good suggestions, too - there's a lot out there! Good luck!
Thanks already ladies! Looking forward to more opinions too.
How was the fit? At 43lbs, DD is at the top of the Large range and I keep reading that they run small. True for you?

My DS is around 30ish pounds and is fine in the medium ones. He is a long and lean build, though. I would check superundies.com. On their page for each item, it has measurements for waist, rise, and legs. You could check those to get a more accurate idea of fit than just by weight.
