Do you still get it if you are definitely having a planned C-Section?  I'd rather not have someone rubbing a cotton swab around my fat pregnant asss if possible.

I believe it is standard. In case your water breaks early or something like that, they want to know if they have to treat you for it or not.

Yep, I got it even though I had a scheduled repeat c/s. And luckily because my water broke early.

Yep, and it's really NBD.  I didn't even know they did it the second time until she was done.

It literally takes a millisecond & you wouldn't even know they did it unless they told you! I think it's standard as the others have said.

I specifically asked my doctor this at my last appointment and she said yes, they still do the test.
