HELP!! DS has dropped his nap (ASD related)

DS dropped his nap, and I am having a hard time keeping him busy or maintaining a quiet time schedule for him. He has never been a good sleeper. He went down to one nap at 9 months old, and I feel lucky that he kept it up until about a week or so ago. 

Our ECSE and SLP have been really great with helping us coming up with some quiet activities that he can do, but it doesn't seem to last that long. We are in the process of making a "me time" box for him that consists of toys that enjoys playing with, that keep him busy and are not overly stimulating. Its a lot more work than I anticipated. He is just so busy that he can find a way to make any toy or activity turn into a loud one. Help!
