Injections and social/business obligations

I started Lupron injections this week for my first IVF cycle and wanted to ask a question.

What did you do if you had an obligation that coincided with the time you did your injections?

I have something coming this week while only injecting Lupron and was not sure how to approach the night-i.e., taking the vial and syringe, taking a loaded syringe or leaving early (which would be hard for me to arrange, honestly).   Can you draw up the Lupron in the syringe in advance?   I cannot find anything online, and am waiting to hear back from the nurse but would love to hear how others approached this.

I'm not sure about lupron specifically, but when I've done injectables for my IUI cycles, I've brought the pre-filled syringe in a cooler with an ice pack.  Then, I've either administered it in my car or in the bathroom.  HTH!!
