What is to be expected? I'm feeling big and it's harder to do as much. After working all day I'm beat. I'm hoping when I stop working energy will return.
I wouldn't count on it. I've been off work since 17 weeks and lay around all day and I'm beat. I've had some complicataions but I think the exhaution is pretty common. I'm thinking it's our bodies way of getting us ready to survive newborn twins lol

Ya energy never returned for me. I had the urge to want to clean in the last couple weeks but would stand up walk to the kitchen and I was tired and sore so I'd go back to the couch. If I wanted to over due it I could have picked up a little bit but it wasn't worth PTL for me. Good luck!

I have about 7 weeks to go and I am SO beat all the time! I teach, so I am already on summer break and spend all day with my enormous feet up, but I have a 3 year old and from 4pm-7pm it is just me and her and that is HARD. Right now, combined, the twins weigh what Emily weighed at birth, I cannot imagine my belly getting any bigger! And poor Em likes to sit on my "lap" and rock at night but my lap is nearly gone. Sigh... DH is working late tonight, can you tell I am hoping that when the twins come some energy returns, but somehow I doubt that...
And with the delivery trifecra of one twin vaginal, one c-section with general anesthesia for twin B, Spencer and Sidney joined us at 35 weeks exactly on June 18.
I actually felt like I had less energy when I was put on bed rest and home all of the time. For me, being home with nothing to do but read and watch TV and being stuck on the couch or in bed just made me exhausted. Probably because my brain wasn't really engaged in much - other then watching Judge Judy and various other educational shows - so it just shut down. My energy has only just started to return in the past month or so!

I am 37 weeks tomorrow and feeling HUGE and tired, difficulty breathing, lost five pounds in the last week because the babies have all but squeezed my stomach into nonexistence, hips are so sore in the morning from alternating my weight on them all night, not to mention I wake up every hour to either pee or switch sides or both. Yeah, not fun. But worth it to be carrying full term twins!

Not fun at all. The only thing that kept me going is knowing that I wouldn't be pregnant forever. You'll survive...then the babies arrive and it's a whole different type of exhaustion. Just rest whenever you can. Good luck!
They were pretty rough for me. Exhausted, legs went numb if I sat in a normal chair from the weight of my giant belly, couldn't really walk the last 4 weeks (I would end up doubled over in painful contractions), wicked pregnancy rash, etc.
For me it was: constant BH contractions thanks to an irritable uterus, swollen feet, constant back pain, heinous heartburn after eating/drinking so much as a glass of water, inability to sleep for more than a couple of hours at a time, and general fatigue so that I basically had the energy to do "one thing" per day, like run to Target or church. It basically sucked, but was worth it for my two beautiful girls!

Miserable so far. I have been exhausted but can't sleep, have pain everywhere along with heartburn, diarrhea and constipation. But I do love being able to rub my ginormous baby bump.

I'd even say the last 3 months. The best was when I started to get edema on the bottom of the baby bump. Gross.
