Growth u/s and possible GD

I had a growth scan today -- I'm slotted for them monthly starting now to monitor my large external fibroid. Well, fibroid is fine, hasn't grown since 20 weeks, and baby girl is looking super cute even though she was asleep with one foot up on her forehead.  She weighs about 2 lbs 12 oz which is apparently normal, but her abdomen was measuring in the 83rd percentile which the OB at the hospital said was potentially indicative of GD. My early screen came back normal and I was waiting to do the next one til next Monday, but now, since I'm going out of town next Tuesday for 5 days and want time to fit the 3-hr in if I fail the 1-hr, I'm going to go do it tomorrow. Anyone out there have a scan correctly predict GD? I'm feeling super bad right now about the pint of Ben & Jerry's I ate last night (first time I've done that kind of thing all pregnancy), even though I know that didn't "cause" this -- if "this" is even something to be worried about. Anyway, crap. If I'm careful the rest of today and tomorrow morning, the ice cream sugar should be out of my system, right? Or should I wait an extra low carb day? Whatever the test results, I'm thinking no more desserts/pasta/bread for me....

Not sure about the scan prediting, but I ate normally for both tests because I didn't want to skew the results.  I wanted it to be a true picture of what I was eating and how my body was reacting.

As of today though, I have cut back on some of the carbs I was eating.

    Good Luck!

Oh yeah, I'm not trying to cheat the test -- just worried about the extra sugar from that much ice cream which is definitely not representative. Though I need to cut down on the carbs anyway so this is a good wake up call no matter what.
