Need rec. for kids cuts in RR area

I want to take Joanna to get her first hair cut tomorrow but have no idea where to go and the reviews I found online for Snip Its and Little Kuts were all pretty old. Anyone have any good recommendations?  She's 17 months so they need to be good with little ones. Thanks for any help!

DD has had her bangs trimmed at Snip Its, and I wasn't in love with the cut. She has curly, thick hair, and I asked that they be cut 1/4" above her eyebrows. That was 6ish weeks ago, and they are just now about 1/4" above her eyebrows...that's how short they got.

Next we are trying Pigtails and Crewcuts in CP.

We've only gotten half decent cuts at all the kid specific places. The last couple times we've gone to the hair place that's between the HEB Plus and the Cotton Patch Cafe. I can't remember the name for anything but they have an airplane chair. I love that there's no gauntlet of toys and hair bows to go through like at Pigtails and Crewcuts.

They've succeed in getting a straight line across the back of Abby's hair. When she had bangs, they did a nice job of making them have a sideswept shape instead of straight across (and uneven at that!).

Dang...I was trying to convince J that we should take N there next time because he finally witnessed the panic attack N had when we took him to Crewcuts last time.  I mean the huge crocodile tears and everything.

Don't do Snipits. They didn't do a good job. i went to one called Kool Kuts for Kids and they were great. Bummer is that it is in San Antonio but the company itself is good. I thought Snipits only catered to girls(I have a 2yr old boy) with all the bows and hair goods they had. i even asked the girl if it was just for girls. I didn't get a good vibe there. I MAY try them again but not sure when. Another stylist will be doing the cut though.
