PPD/PPA and 2 under 2

anyone experience PPD/PPA with their first and then go on to have their 2nd within 2 years?  Did you have PPD/PPA with your second?

I get PPA and I got it with both girls.  I went on medicine right away after delivering my youngest though.  The day I got out of the hospital I started meds.  It helped, but obvioiusly we know it takes a few weeks to work, so I did suffer for a week or so with it.

I do not get PPD though.  Just the anxiety.  My girls are 18 months apart.

I never was officially diagnosed, but I'm pretty sure I had PPD after my first.  I was much better after the second.

I had mild PPD with my first, but with my second I have had both PPD and PPA.  With some counseling, things have definitely improved.

No personal experience but my good friend had PPD with her first and not with her second.

I didn't have it w my first...but was diagnosed semi late (6 months pp) with my second. Mine was in the form of extreme anger, mostly towards dh, which is why it took me so long to realize I was feeling depressed!
