The rise for Dylan

in girls names makes me a little ill. It jumped 86 spots.

That is all. 

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    Yuck.  I love Dylan for a boy but doubt I will use it because I don't want kids to think it is a girl's name.

    We are using Dylan for this baby BOY. I hate it for girls.

    For a boy name it dropped just 2 spots, and is still top 50 - so hold on boy mama's! It will always be a boy name!

    Dylan is a boys name.  I'm surprised to see it rise in the girl column.  I don't know any girls with that name...yet.

    I actually don't hate it for a girl's name...I wouldn't use it though. It reminds me of the Charlie Angel's remake. I believe Drew Barrymore's character was named Dylan.

    UGH!  Drives me nuts!  A few years ago one of my coworkers decided to name her daughter Dylan.  I told her that was my brother's name and she said, "Don't worry, we're spelling it the 'girl way', D-Y-L-A-N."  I said, "Oh, like Bob Dylan?"
