I just got home from the doctor. He said the breast lump is nothing to worry about, as he didn't find anything. He said it was okay to come in just to make sure.

I asked about the vagina pain and he took a look. We are out this cycle. He did a swab for HSV and said I could have had it for years and not known. He said there is no sense in worrying about how it was contracted that will just cause more stress. He did the swab and I have to call on Wednesday for results. If it is inconclusive I will get bloodwork. I guess this is not a standard test so they wouldn't have checked before.

So here I am with more questions and less answers just like before. UGH when will this roller coaster ever end.

    I am so sorry. That completely sucks about the HSV. But I'm glad the breast lump was nothing.

    Crap.  I'm sorry!  Glad the lump was nothing, but it royally sucks that now you're dealing with this.

    Excuse my ignorance...what is HSV?  Is it similar to HPV?

    While I'm glad the breast lump was nothing I'm so sorry about the HSV!  That sucks that you have more things to deal with, I hope you get some more answers soon and an effective treatment so you are not in pain anymore.

    Talk about a rollercoaster!  I'm glad the breast lump was nothing to worry about.  I am sorry about the HSV and being in limbo.  I feel like this wholed process is just a really really long game of limbo.  I hope you get answers soon and the doctor is wrong about the HSV.

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Great news about the lump. I hope you get some answers on Wednesday and the dr has a plan to end this roller coaster.

    HSV is pretty common, more people have it than you'd think. It doesn't impede TTC, thank goodness. The usual protocol is Valtrex at 36 weeks, and make sure there aren't any open lesions down below before delivery.

     The doctor explained this to me with some crazy number of millions of people. I hope that the testing comes back negative, but if it does then I have to have blood work to double check. This is not official yet, but either way it is an annoyance.
