My dear friend is expecting twins and asked me to help her register since I just had a baby and did lots of research on baby gear. I was wondering though...what will she need doubles of? I'm thinking cribs, bouncers, car seats...Also, what do you recommend for a stroller? Thanks for all your advice!
Re: baby gear- what do you need doubles of?
I liked having two carriers (Ergo and a Beco are what I have)
A double snap and go is what most people start with. Then it depends on what she wants (I have a Maclaren for the car and a Bob Revolution for longer walks)
Two bouncers were nice. Oh, two rock and plays are even better, with boppy noggin nests to help with flat heads (twins tend to be put down longer, I'm guessing.)
Two+ miracle blankets.
I like having two Boppies for propping the babies. Got two Baby Bjorn bouncers and one swing. One pack and play, but some like to have two. Right now our girls are in Rock and Plays in our room, and then they'll be in their cribs.
I love our Baby Jogger City Select stroller. With the adapters it works great with our Chicco Keyfit car seats, so I skipped the double snap and go. I wanted one really good stroller, because it's hard to leave the house alone without it. Got a good deal on Albee Baby.
