How accurate do you guys think this is? I have been doing some research online, but I just want to take a poll of who it actually worked for on this website. At the 12w4d US they told us that it was a 98% chance of having a little girl. How accurate were their predictions for you? Thanks!!!
Re: The nub theory
we had them guess at our NT scan around 12 weeks and they guessed girl. they were wrong.
you won't get a 100% until you give birth. HTH.

There is an elective 3d/4d place here that guarantees gender checks at 14 weeks. They say they are never wrong, but if they are, they refund the cost.
I'm wondering if they use the nub theory.. who knows... but I'm willing to check it out.
Hey there. I think the techs were also pretty brave to guess... I was told they wouldn't even try to predict the sex of the baby until someone is at least 18 weeks along. I have heard mixed thoughts on it. A few people I know were told they were having one and when the baby came it was wrong.
I would hold off on buying pink until your next ultrasound to see what they have.

At my 13 week n/t scan, my doc asked if we were going to find out what we were having and then guessed girl. she said "its a girl, don't paint the room pink, but its a girl" and it was based on this theory. the office we went to deals only with high risk patients (I am not it is just who my doc sends us to) so their machines are docs are top notch
that said for 8 weeks until my 2nd u/s I did a ton of research on this theory. Found it she is 100% girl; got a perfect shot.
I think you have to have a top notch u/s machine and a doc who is highly skilled and knows what this theory is. It of course can be wrong and I didn't believe it until it was confirmed
