We are just considering #3 so there would probably be at least a 3 year gap between #2 and #3, which is very different than the 16 month gap between our 2 boys.
I wish I could tell you...we've gone round and round about this. We both are positive we want another, but can't decide on a 2yr vs. 3yr age gap. There are pros/cons to each. We had no problems deciding how to space #1 and #2.
IF we ever have a 3rd we will do a larger age gap like 3-3.5 years apart. We had a hard time going from 1-2 kids as well they are 25 months apart, and it's been tough for us. This may also be the reason we are done with 2 kids. We constantly go back and forth about #3.
#1 and #2 are 19 months apart. We still have no clue if we'll go for #3 or not. If we do, there will be a larger gap - at least 21 months, but quite possibly closer to 24-26 months. No more than 3 years, though.

We started trying for #3 when #2 was 2 months old, and we would've had 3u2 if that try was successful. Unfortunately, it took 10 months and a miscarriage for this baby.
We plan to have 4 total. Originally the plan was to have 2u2 and then wait a while and have another 2u2 when it wouldn't ever mean 3 daycare bills at once. However, that was when I was working. I'm currently SAH but looking for a reasonable source of income. We can't live indefinitely on just my husband's salary. I'm hoping to build up a tutoring business (I'm a teacher) or something similar that would allow me to continue to be at home most of the time. In that case we might try for the next ones sooner because then it's less total time before I can go back to full time teaching (when they're all in school). If I don't find something part time before the fall though we have to reconsider me staying home and then we'll definitely go back to the wait a while for #3 and 4 plan.
#1 and #2 were 12.5 months apart. I liked this spacing for the first 2.
We are planning on ttc next month. If we get pregnant our first cycle, 2-3 will be 25.5 months apart. I needed a break from the 2 pregnancies, but on the same hand I didn't want a big spacing either. I think this is pretty good, since now my older 2 are to the age where they play together a lot.
If we're not pregnant by DS's 3rd birthday at the end of December, I will be happy with 2. I don't want to get too close to a 4 year gap between 1-3.
1 and 2 are 23 months apart and we are planning for around 2 years (21ish months and up) apart for #3 and then for #4 as well. After that we will re-evaluate and decide whether we want to do adoption for 5 & 6 or do number 5 another 2 years after that and adopt only 1.

Started our exploration into the world of international adoption June 2012. We have no idea what this is going to look like but we are excited to find out!
My first 2 are 15.5 months apart. We wanted a little longer between #2 and #3, but not too long. We started TTC#3 when DD (#2) was 12 months old. I had a m/c in the fall (would have had #2 and #3 2yrs apart), and just had another BFP. If all goes well this time, #1 will be 3yrs 10months and #2 will be 2.5 when #3 is born.
#1 & 2 are 22 months apart, #2 & 3 are 21 months apart, and #3 & 4 will be 17 months apart. #4 is the only 'unplanned' little one, though I can't imagine it different now.
In a perfect world.. 2 and 3 would be 15-18 months apart but if not then definitely still under 2 years.
However,
1) I am on a weight loss mission from the first two still and have about 32 more pounds to lose first (down 38 so far.. yikes)
2) I don't have any control over when I do get pregnant
3) We are buying a new house next summer which will be around the time we would like to have another one which would be a little crazy - not impossible - just busy

1 and 2 are 12 months apart.
2 and 3 will be 27 months apart and 1 will be 3.25 years old.
My two daughters are 15 months apart. DD2 and DS (pregnant now!) will be 21 months apart.
I loved the age difference between DDs once we got past the tough part.
1 & 2 were 20mo apart.
2 & 3 were 12.5mo apart.
3 & 4 will be 17mo apart.
If all goes well, planning on a #5 about 18-22 mo after #4.

DD and DS are 14 months apart.
DS and #3 will be 20 months apart. (Making 3u3)
#1 and #2 are 18.5 months apart.
#2 and #3 will be 22 months apart.
DD2 and DD3 will be 18 months apart

we wanted #3 to be just as close but we've been trying for over a year with no luck. so #3 will just have to be whatever if/when it ever happens.

Between 1 and 2 - 23 mos
Between 2 and 3 - 25 mos (not technically under two, but figure it's pretty darn close with three under 4!)

So, exactly 12 months further apart than my 2u2 (almost to the day!)
Malakai - 8.3.09
Ezra - 12.1.11 ASD
1 & 2: 14 months apart
2 & 3: 23 months apart
Assuming we don't go insane with 3 kids, we plan on having 4 and we want the gap between 3 & 4 to be 14-18 months.
I didn't know you were having another girl! That will be so fun to have 3 girls so close in age!
DD1 and DD2 are 13.5 months apart
DD2 and LO3 will be a month shy of 3 years apart
DD1 and LO3 may share a birthday. They will be 4 years apart
